Southern Soul Radio, Music & Film Conference Brings Unforgettable Entertainment and Honors Music Legends


Atlanta, Georgia — July 24, 2023 — The stage is set for the Southern Soul Radio, Music & Film Conference, a spectacular event that will run from August 17th to 19th, 2023, at the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Airport North, located at 3437 Bobby Brown Parkway East Point, Georgia 30344. This eagerly awaited conference promises an electrifying celebration of Southern Soul, Country, Hip Hop, Neo Soul, Gospel, R&B, Jazz, Blues, and the entertainment industry. The three-day extravaganza will feature a remarkable lineup of live performances, education workshops, Independent short film screenings, and prestigious awards ceremonies.

The excitement will ignite on Thursday evening with a captivating listening session, setting

the tone for the exceptional weekend ahead. On Friday, the festivities will reach a

crescendo, starting with a star-studded red carpet entertainment industry mixer. The conference will also host a special reception in honor of the HBCU Alabama State Mighty Marching Hornets Alumni, extending a warm welcome to the esteemed Dr. James Oliver, Band Director for his outstanding contributions in preserving Soul, R&B, and Blues music. Adding to the allure, Exxpose Magazine will make its grand debut in Atlanta, offering attendees the rare opportunity to meet and greet the esteemed Editor in Chief, CoCo Wade. The evening will be filled with enchanting live performances, followed by a foot-tapping Hoe Down Line Dance party presented by the sensational Southern Soul, Country Singer Brei Carter and Electro Horse.


As the evening draws to a close, Evanti Records will take the stage, treating the audience to a mesmerizing performance by The Bruce Wayne Band.

Saturday's schedule promises a rich blend of enlightening education workshops and captivating short film screenings. The night will culminate with the highly anticipated Honor's Night, presented by Ours Studios, wherein we will recognize trailblazers and iconic figures who have made significant contributions to the entertainment industry.

This grand evening will pay tribute to humanitarians and entertainment leaders and such as Joyce Irby, lead singer of Klymaxx; Sheryl Gripper, BronzeLens Festival, Founder of Black Women in Film; Dinahlynn Biggs from Biggs Radio; legendary Blues icon Bobby Rush; Wilson Meadows; Queen of Southern Soul, Ms. Jody; Karen Renee', Atlanta NAACP 2nd Vice President; renowned Radio Personality, 2023 Radio Hall A Fame Inductee, Frank Ski; K-9 Entertainment's Tyrone Dickens; Diego and Kelly Silva; Kevin Savage; Tobias Armand; and the soulful Southern Soul singer J'Cenae.
